Lottery operator

Asia Pacific Lottery Operator

Tabcorp

In a year heavily impacted by Covid-19, Tabcorp delivered strong results with group revenue up 8.8 per cent year-on-year to AUD 5.69bn. Lotteries and Keno revenues were up 9.9 per cent. Core lottery games were up 10 per cent.

Both were hit by Australia’s lockdown measures but that has had a beneficial impact on the company’s digital operations, which grew by 27 per cent year-on-year and now account for almost a third of the lottery’s entire turnover.

This will likely be the last year that Tabcorp owns such a diverse portfolio as the Lotteries & Keno group are set to split from Wagering & Media. Despite a tough final year together, Tabcorp has weathered the storm and the two businesses can look forward to even more prosperous times as separate entities.
