Innovation Award Africa

Pronet Gaming

The Gaming Intelligence Awards reward innovation and particularly innovation that is tailored for specific markets.

Pronet Gaming has done just that with the Lite version of its platform. It is aimed at those jurisdictions where the mobile browser dominates and allows operators to optimise their products, while reaching an audience that would otherwise be out of reach.

Pronet also introduced its Book-a-bet function that allows players to make a bet online and then pay in a retail outlet, or vice versa. Since implementing book-a-bet, Pronet’s clients in Africa have witnessed an average 25 per cent increase in total wagers. It has proven incredibly effective in converting land-based retail players to the online experience.

This approach to innovation touches every aspect of the sports betting experience. Before the Euro 2020 and the Copa América football tournaments began, Pronet developed a set of bespoke sports betting widgets for its partners in Africa, which offered ready-made coupons with pre-built accas that were localised for particular markets.
